Resilient Livelihood for Earthquake-Affected Families of Rukum West (RELIEF) Project

Objective:

The project's overall objective is to improve the food security and livelihood of earthquake-affected communities, particularly women, through climate-resilient agriculture, promotion of local enterprises, and enhancing marketing access.

Target population:

The target population of the project is poor and vulnerable households, migrant workers, and marginalized and underprivileged women affected by earthquakes.

Thematic area:

The project mainly works under three main thematic areas, which are listied below: 

1. Climate resilient livelihood
2. Gender equality and women empowerment
3. Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR)

Geographic coverage:

The project is currently operating in Sanibheri Rural Municipalities—1 & 2, Rukum West, Karnali Province.
